CRANE DAY...
New mobile classrooms arrive at the Junior school...
Saturday 26 November 2005

The existing Sharrow Primary School is split over 2 sites. The juniors are taught in an old stone built victorian building and the infants, reception and nursery are a couple of streets away in a more recent single storey building.

While the new Sharrow Primary School is being built all the children will be taught at the junior school site and various work has been carried out to make the accommodation suitable for this interim period.

We went along just to watch the crane lift the temporary classrooms over the wall and into the playground. We had a ride on the crane
.

We had to wear safety helmets to be allowed onto the site (in the playground). Here we are sat on a ladder with part of a new classroom behind us.
