What has happened to the park!

We've been shown some pictures. All (well quite a lot of) the grass has been scraped off the football pitch and it has been surrounded by a fence!!!

Apparently it is because the drilling for the ground source heating (remember that from earlier inJuly-'Monster Machines in our Park' when we told you about it) is going to start soon. We'll post some pictures soon when we get our paws on them.

We've been assured that everything will be put back exactly like it was before.

Well, you can't see much of the school from the bottom end of the park, can you. When the crane goes it won't look much different from here.
