A lecture at Hallam University

Cath our Architect was asked to give a public lecture at Hallam University about her work on schools.

She talked about the Norfolk Community Primary School that she designed with sustainability in mind. We went along to hear about the special things that were done then, like the sedum roof, the rainwater recycling (like we are going to have) and the healthy paints.

Cath also then went on to tell the people who were there (about 100 of them, students, lecturers, architects and other folks), about our new school and what we are trying to do. She told them about our special bio-diverse roof and how it will help to use up the rain and stop it flooding the city centre, as well as the plants making it a good place for insects and birds to live.

Cath finished off the lecture by telling everyone about the Construction Buddy project and how important we were! You could hardly get our big heads out of the door after that!!!
