who/what is that?

Mick is the Clerk of Works, it is his job to be the eyes and ears of the architect on site, he inspects the construction work, making sure that everything is being built properly and in accordance with the specification (the written description of all the things that go into the building) and the drawings. He completes daily and weekly reports recording what has happened on site in order to keep the architect and the site project manager up to date with exactly what is going on site. He makes sure the client gets what they are paying for.
